Hello, welcome! My name is Peyton James, and I will be graduating from Purdue University this May. I will receive a BA in Anthropology with a concentration in Biological Anthropology and minoring in Forensic Sciences and Law and Society.
Coming into my first year at Purdue, I believed I had everything planned out. The majors and minors I wanted to complete were designed to allow me to succeed in a position within crime scene investigations. However, while I maintain my respect for those in this particular field, I found a formidable calling to something more global: advocating for those who do not have a voice.
My passions intersect at social justice and legal work but transfer into a variety of fields. Throughout my involvement at Purdue, I have developed strong time management and organization skills. Even more so, I have made it a goal to participate in activities and research I am passionate about. Therefore, prioritizing my work felt less like a bullet point on my to-do list and more like a list of tasks I wanted to accomplish.
